Training Schedule for OTHER GOVERNMENT REQUIRED COURSES

<p>This course covers the requirements of the Department of Labor Department Order 132 series of 2013. It provides knowledge in the performance of duties and responsibilities of a designated Shipboard Safety and Health Officer (SSHO).</p> <p>This course aims to train candidates to obtain knowledge in the duties, responsibilities and performance of a Shipboard Safety and Health Officer.</p> <p>On meeting the minimum standard of competence, the trainees should be able to demonstrate the following competencies:</p> <ol> <li>Perform duties and responsibilities of SSHO</li> <li>Identify Hazard and Risk on Board</li> <li>Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment&nbsp;</li> <li>Explain the relevant provisions in the Maritime Labor Convention 2006</li> </ol>
